Disney has released their 2008 hotel and ticket rates and they continue to make tweaks to the various ticket plans and hotel packages they offer. Part of the challenge of planning a Disney vacation is all of the options they provide- it can be overwhelming even for folks like us who have been there many times!

Getting Started

My family is planning a return visit to Disney World in 2008! We're hoping to make it a mini family reunion and the trip planning is just starting.

There's always so much to decide....

- When to go??? Unfortunately the best times we can go are also the most crowded - spring break, summer, holidays...

- Where to stay??? We love the Disney hotels but they are more expensive. We always wonder if we should try some of the non-Disney hotels that are close by - or for the reunion, perhaps we rent a house???

- How long do we stay??? A full week??? or do we stay a few days at the resorts then explore other areas of Orlando??

It's time to pull out the planning info. Some of my faves include: The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, websites like Intercot, Mousesavers, Disney's site, WDWIG (Deb's Unofficial Walt Disney World Information Guide).
